Deep Tissue Sculpting
Therapists utilizes firm, constant pressure
working in the direction of the muscle fibers. Unlike Swedish style massage,
no oil or lotion is used. This style of healing massage therapy helps
to release chronic muscle tension as the therapist gently and slowly
works through the layers of tissue, within the client's physical comfort
level.
Neuromuscular Therapy
Trigger point therapy is utilized in specific locations, where
points are held until tension and pain is reduced. Cross fiber friction
is used to release adhesions in the muscles. Oil or lotions are used to
re-align the muscle fibers following this therapy.
Sports Massage
You don’t have to be a professional
athlete to receive this healing massage. Whether you are recovering from
injury, preparing for an event or keeping fit, this style of massage
utilizes stretches and a blend of Swedish, deep tissue and other holistic
modalities tailored to the physical athlete’s
individual needs.
Circulatory (Swedish) Massage
This is the most commonly recognized form
of massage which utilizes long, lowing strokes to relax, rejuvenate
and heal the body, mind and spirit. It helps to reduce general tension
and induce a sense of health and well-being.
Pregnancy Massage
During pregnancy,
a woman goes through many changes. Healing massage therapy can ease
your aching low back, aid circulation to decrease the effects of edema,
reduce stress and make your feel “human” again.
Raindrop Therapy
This luxurious therapy includes the application
of seven therapeutic
grade essential oils and two blends, mindfully applied
to help restore balance in the body and evoke a healthy and positive
feeling of well-being. This treatment also includes a 10-15 minute massage
and hot towel application. |
