Although we at IHD are used to writing tips based on health, we cannot ignore the fact that having a prosperity consciousness plays a big role in building the level of health we desire. People who have a prosperity consciousness typically lead healthier lives not just because they can afford the level of healthcare they want, but because they have the right attitude about earning money. Although many of us have that picture in our mind of Mr. Scrooge making money purely for his financial gain, we have to really change our attitudes about what money actually means (an exchange of service for a job well done). One of the key factors involved with this attitude change is in knowing that you DESERVE the riches of life because what you do serves humanity unselfishly. Dr. Larry Markson is a master at developing this type of attitude and in his book, The Stairway To Riches: 10 Steps To Lifetime Prosperity he has many strategies about changing your prosperity consciousness. Try implementing this one for yourself and see what happens.
CONSTRUCT A DUPLICATE OF A BANK CHECK: On the top left-hand corner of the check, blank out the name of the person or company sending the check and write the title “SERVICE BANK OF THE UNIVERSE.” Where the date should be, write the current year. On the check where it says “pay to the order of” add in “It is a pleasure to” so that it read “It is a pleasure to pay to the order of” and then write your full name and write it BOLDLY with indelible ink. Next to the ($) sign, write the amount you intend/commit to earning that year and write out the words of the amount as on a regular check. In the lower left hand corner, where you note what the check is for, write “For Loving Service to Humanity.” And finally, on the signature line write “From the grateful People of” and fill in the name of the city where you do business. Try making the check look as real as possible and afterwards, make copies and place it in places where you will be able to look at it often (note: Do not display it openly to anyone who may think or judge you).
