In that list, the Chiropractic Adjustment is listed as one of the things that we should be getting regularly to achieve optimal health.
The science, art and philosophy of Chiropractic is over 100 years old and has helped many with phenomenal results using our own healing abilities. Chiropractic is based on the premise that our nervous system is the master controller of our body and when there is interference in our nervous system, we experience dysfunction. Removing the interference will allow us to function optimally. Chiropractic adjustments enable the body to be in a better position to self-heal and self regulate. However, without a wellness system in place (i.e. concepts of healthy eating, regular exercise and strategies dealing for stress) the effects of the adjustments are dramatically reduced. This is why it is important for people to become students of their own bodies.
