Now that we have heard about some of the benefits of essential oils from last week’s health tip, we want to share with you how the quality of oils can make a huge difference in whether you experience the health benefits or not. Unfortunately, not all essential oils are created equally.
98% of the world’s essential oils are made for perfume, food flavoring, or industrial uses. Most of the oils we find in the market are lower-quality oils that are over-processed and may be mingled with chemical pesticides, fungicides, or fertilizers. Additives may be used to dilute the oil, or the scent may result from artificial chemicals produced in the laboratory. Even the water used for distillation can make a difference if it is treated with chlorine, fluoride or other chemicals.
Using lower grade essential oils will be completely devoid of therapeutic benefits and can even cause toxicity issues for some people. To learn about therapeutic grade oils, come join us for our FREE workshop this Saturday August 19 from 10:30 am -12 noon. We still have several seats available.
